Community Producer Content Hour

Community Producer Content

Do you have an event that you want to share with the community?

Be a Community Producer and be a part of the Community Producer Content Hour.

Today's video technology isn't complicated. You can use your cell phone to record your event. We have a few accessories that will make it easier and you can borrow a free "Event Kit." Once you have recorded the event, send it to us via Dropbox.

Your event will play in the Community Producer Content Hour on PACTV's Prime Player online and on cable TV  in our service area (Comcast 13 and Verizon 43).

Free Event Kits include a shotgun microphone, ultra bright LED30 light, and adjustable tabletop tripod.

Kits can be reserved for 4 days and are free to residents of Duxbury, Kingston, Pembroke and Plymouth.

Need more help or have questions?

Did you already record your event?  No problem. You can still upload your video to play on the Community Producer Content Hour to us via Dropbox.

Why do I need to sign a Channel Time Request form? Your content is your content. You are responsible for what is on your video but you own it. We will only put it on our Community Channel and on PACTV's Prime Player online. You own the copyright.

Did you already put your event on YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, IGTV, or Twitch? Let up know you want it to be added to the Community Producer Showcase and  complete a  Channel Time Request Form

Does PACTV ever cover community events? We love to reflect what our community is doing but are a small nonprofit. Our community center is noncommercial so our resources are limited.

If you have a community or nonprofit event that you want to promote. Get in touch with us. We produce public service announcements for nonprofits and run notices on our Community Bulletin Board.

We also do provide event coverage for businesses as a way to generate revenue. Find out more
