Candidate Services

PACTV offers a variety of services so that voters can make informed decisions about candidates running for local, county and state offices in the Spring and Fall. Services include candate statements, candidate forums and in 2020, interviews with candidates running for State Senator (Plymouth & Barnstable District).

Candidates running for Senate in the Special Election in March of 2020 (Plymouth and Barnstable district) have been invited to a one-on-one interview at PACTV on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. We would like your help! Please click here to submit questions to the candidate through January 31st. Interviews will be shown on the Community Channel and the Government Channels (see channel numbers below) and on YouTube starting on Friday, February 14, 2020. Duxbury's Town Elections will take place on March 28, 2020. Candidates are invited to record a Candidate Statement on March 2nd or 3rd at PACTV More Information. If there are contested races, PACTV will hold a Candidate Forum on March 11th so please save the date if you are a candidate. The last day to register to vote to participate in the Annual Town Election is Monday, February 24, 2020.

Kingston's Town Elections will take place on April 25, 2020. PACTV will record Candidate Statements and expects to cover the Candidate Forum usually held at Town Hall that is moderated by Christine James of WATD, 95.9FM. More details will be available in March. The last day to pull nomination papers is Friday, March 6, 2020.

As of January 3, 2020, Pembroke's Town Elections have not been announced yet. PACTV will record Candidate Statements and if there are contested races, will hold Candidate Forums at PACTV. More details will be available in March.

The State Primary will be held on September 1, 2020. Candidates running for State Senate (Plymouth & Barnstable and Plymouth & Norfolk) will be invited to record Candidate Statements and PACTV expects to hold or cover a Candidate Forum in the Fall of 2020. Candidates running for State Representative (Plymouth 1st, 6th and 12th Districts) will also be invited to record Candidate Statements and PACTV expects to hold or cover a Candidate Forum in the Fall of 2020. More information will come as we get closer to the Primary. The State Election will take place on November 3, 2020.
