As the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) affects our communities, our work as your community media center continues. We are vigilant; heeding all federal, state and local health advisories; and where it makes sense, adjusting efforts to safeguard the health and safety of our staff and those we come in contact within the community and our studios. Although we are not open to the public, we continue to serve our towns.

Producers may borrow field equipment on Mondays and return it on Friday - reservation are required. Call us at 508-830-6999 to make a reservation.

Below are resources that we have gathered and a link to the right of COVID-19 updates we have recorded since March 14th.

On Wednesdays the Town of Plymouth is holding COVID-19 Updates at 12:00pm. Watch on Comcast 15, Verizon 47 and online at

We have offered to continue to hold COVID-19 Updates with the towns of Duxbury, Kingston and Pembroke as were done in the Spring. We will update this when they do create COVID-19 updates. Please be safe and contact us with any questions at

More about PACTV and COVID-19

We believe it is our role during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our members, producers and staff and playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus and communicate to the residents of Duxbury, Kingston, Pembroke and Plymouth.

Though there are no suspected or confirmed cases at PACTV, at this time we have determined that additional proactive measures are necessary to minimize the risks to the health and safety of our entire community, which is our foremost concern, as well as to help limit the spread of the coronavirus in the interest of public health.

PACTV is consider an Essential Business. Although we are closed to the public, our staff are:

  • Covering Government meetings, where participants join in remotely. These are requested by our towns
  • Hosting COVID-19 Forums. Participants are town officials, State Representatives and experts. All partcipants are joining in remotely
  • Telling the stories of our communities through Local Matters
  • Assistant nonprofits by producing public service announcements
  • Accepting programming from our producers remotely
  • Creating community notices on our Community Bulletin Board
  • Finding ways to curate educational programming, even as our schools are closed
  • Programming our channels and updating our website

We are closely monitoring the situation and providing our staff with the most up-to-date safety guidance, as recommended by the CDC and other health officials. We are providing continuous reminders about good hygiene practices and supporting our staff with necessary resources.
