PACTV offers services so that voters can make informed decisions about candidates running for local, county and state offices. This includes Candidate Spotlight and Candidate Forums.

Candidate Spotlight: Candidates running for local offices are invited to PACTV and can choose to record a 3-minute candidate statement. These statements will be a part of "Candidate Spotlight" which will be shown on the corresponding government channel, PACTV's Video on Demand and PACTV's YouTube Channel - PACTV Video Share.


Candidate Forums: PACTV will hold forums when there are contested races or cover exisiting forums.  In 2018, PACTV will cover the following:

Upcoming Forum Dates:

Kingston: April 19th Candidate Forum at Kingston Town House (Room 200) moderated by Christine James of WATD. 

Pembroke: April 19th at 6pm - Candidate Forum at PACTV with candidate running for the offices of Town Clerk and Board of Selectman. 

Plymouth: May 3rd at 6pm - Candidate Forum at PACTV with candidates running for the offices of School Committee and Board of Selectmen. 



Plymouth County and State Elections 

PACTV offers two services:

  • Plymouth County Candidates: Candidates running for County Commissioner, District Attorney, Register of Deeds, Sheriff and Treasurer are invited to record a 3-minute statement that are edited together in a special called "Candidate Spotlight."  Candidates who win the primary on September 4, 2018 will be invited to attend. 
  • State Representative and State Senate Candidates: PACTV will hold Candidate Forums for candidates running for State Representative (1st Plymouth District, 6th Plymouth District, 12th Plymouth District and 5th Barnstable District). Candidate Forums will also be held for candidates running for State Senate (Plymouth and Barnstable District and Plymouth and Norfolk District).  Candidates who win the State Primary on September 4, 2018 will be invited to attend.
