Plymouth Board of Selectmen meeting coverage in the 1820 Courthouse

Created date

June 20, 2018

As many of you are aware, live coverage of Selectmen meetings in the 1820 Courthouse has posed many technical challenges for us. Among these have been equipment failures, transmission problems over Verizon’s FiOS connection to our studio and inferior lighting and sound problems attributed to general character of the room. Our staff has continually been on site to oversee the launch of each meeting and despite successful testing and trials prior to each meeting, new issues continue to arise.

We all share a common frustration with this situation and PACTV is committed to reaching a resolution as promptly and effectively as possible. We take our role in the community very seriously. We appreciate the feedback that we’ve received, both critical and supportive, throughout this process; it all matters.

PACTV is working diligently with the Town, our vendors and equipment manufacturers to remedy the problems in the 1820 Courthouse and we appreciate your support and patience.
